A motorbike MOT checks that your bike is roadworthy. We test all makes at our workshop on Arnold Road in Bow, and if something fails we can usually fix it the same day rather than sending you somewhere else.

The DVSA sets a statutory maximum of £29.65 for a motorcycle MOT, and £37.80 for a motorcycle with a sidecar. That is a cap rather than a fixed price, so a garage can charge less but never more. The fee is exempt from VAT.

You get the failure items in writing and a quote before any work starts. Most failures are lights, tyres or brakes and can be sorted the same day. If the bike stays with us for the repair, the retest is free.
Only to a pre-booked MOT appointment or to a garage for repairs. Otherwise it is an offence and your insurance will usually be invalid.
Yes. Class 1 covers bikes up to 200cc and Class 2 covers everything above, and the maximum fee is the same for both.
